Gun Control by a church?

May 3 meeting on gun control

Although the webmaster is a second cousin, four times removed of Joseph Smith III, he is not a member of the RLDS or as they now wish  to be known, the Community of Christ in Missouri.  As you read the anti-CCW statement, you'll see they are stating opinion.  Opinion that is apparently based on feeling good rather than facts and empirical data.  The Announcement indicates there will be a meeting on May 3, 7:00 at the Family Life Center to have a dialogue on gun control.  See the church's plans on http://www.tristake.org/conceald.htm   Who among us "gun nuts" is ready to attend this meeting and contribute to these folks' education?  As Brad says, "Too bad ignorance isn't painful."
