The following article appeared in the Lee's Summit High School's Publication Hi.Life in April of 2004. Quoted in it is Board Member Larry Swickard. Mr. Swickard is our Research Fellow. He also has written wonderful articles for The Bullet. There are some things wrong in the following article, for example the age at which you may apply for a CCW is 23, not 21, also at the end it mentions no one may be able to obtain a permit, anyone that qualifies may get an out of state permit, from Florida, or Utah. But Mr. Swickard noted, they did a pretty good job with the article and did not misquote him. I told him, in that case, they have no future working at the KC Star.
