At this point in history, it appears that the chances of this country ever being the "land of the free" again are slim to none.
All three major White House contenders are big-government,
tax-and-spend socialists -- some would even say they're fascists. With
all
of the drastic strides toward totalitarianism made by previous
administrations, our chains have already been forged for us, and
anything resembling liberty in this country teeters on the brink of
extinction.
This situation can be reversed, but it must be done right now, and in the right way.
Different individuals within the freedom movement have different
priorities: foreign policy; gun rights; privacy; currency; free speech;
and so on. But unless the ravenous federal monster is starved -- by cutting off its funding, and very soon -- freedom in all of those areas and many more, is doomed.
Mankind as a whole may never recover.
While the public may not care, or even know about the ways their
choices have been taken away from them, they do feel the heavy hand of
government -- especially on their checkbooks -- more and more. What's
needed is a simple, basic message, delivered in a matter-of-fact, sane
and sober manner, to focus their potential indignation where it can do
some real good. Given the right message, we can finally encourage
ordinary Americans to join the side of liberty, and persuade them to
take action that will benefit us all.
People need to be shown
that it's time for them to stop funding the destruction of their
freedom -- that it's time for them to take their money back. A web
site and video presentation on that topic have just been completed. We
encourage you to check it out, then spread the message far and wide.
Those in the freedom movement are invited to participate in the
campaign, but it is absolutely crucial that this message be spread much
farther and wider than normal, to those outside
the usual activist circles. The presentation speaks for itself. All you
have to do is get it in front of as many eyes as possible, so that we
have a chance to win this fight.
Starving the monster means
keeping what you earn. Whatever they may think about specific political
issues, everyone can grasp what it would mean to have 40% more money,
or if (in effect) everything cost 40% less. It's an idea that will
resonate with every individual who ever tried to balance a checkbook.
Imagine if everything you bought -- your food, your medicine, your
utilities, your car, your house, your guns all cost 40% less.
Who wouldn't want that?
But people will certainly never hear about such a possibility from
either major political party, or the mainstream media. That's where you
come in.
