Another victim of Maximum Mike and the ATF

December 19, 2007
I have recently began speaking with Bill Akins of Akins Accelerator, the following article was just released on his story. For 2 years Akins had been allowed do manufacturer his product, then months after ATF Acting Director Michael J. Sullivan took over they decided that it was illegal and ordered Akins to cease production. Sullivan further addressed their decision in the last paragraph of the letter that he submitted to the National Ombudsman.

The arrogance of the ATF is shown in the following comment:

"That's the bottom line is that we believe it's a machine gun," Drew Wade, ATF spokesman said. "End of story." (By the way I just put in a call to Mr. Wade's voice mail at (202) 648-8500)

Now this honest businessman and veteran who has served our country is now headed into bankruptcy. So my question is were there videos of this alleged first test where it failed? Why is something that operates the same as another device that has been available for over 20 years illegal? These are the same corrupt practices that Sullivan and the ATF have used on Richard Celata of KT Ordnance, where his competitors are offering the same product but he is being singled out.

Sullivan ironically is listed as faculty for Justice for All, yet Sullivan in the past has displayed that the rules or law do not seem to apply:

''Getting a warrant is very time-consuming," said Sullivan, ''You have to collect facts, prepare an affidavit, present it to a judge . . .That's valuable time that's potentially lost in an investigation."

It is very obvious why defenders of your freedom, GOA, CCRKBA and JPFO have opposed Sullivan's confirmation and Second Amendment Senators have place holds on his confirmation.

Please take the time to contact your Senator to oppose Sullivan's confirmation.
