The Following Eulogy has been written by Board Member Brad Alpert:

Tim Kimsey, Fallen Brother

Tim Kimsey was taken from us a few days ago, felled by a terminal disease. The legacy of his help and support to the gun rights movement, particularly that which he lent to a younger WMSA, vitiates his memory and ensure that his spirit will help us in our struggle.

Tim was with WMSA in the earlier days, during that dark period of Clinton's reign. While some of us were busy fighting the political hucksters who were coming for our guns – and the media, which spoke on their behalf - others of us were joining militias, burying guns, pamphleteering, stockpiling guns and ammo and provisions, and working jointly with other groups around the nation against the confiscation orders which we assumed would be coming any day now. Tim and Linda Kimsey came on board WMSA at that time, Linda as a Director and Officer and Tim as member and supporter. Between them, they calmly helped steer us through those troublesome days. Their experience in practical politics and the hands-on business savvy that comes with owning and operating a successful business helped keep us grounded and pointed in the right direction. Many gun rights groups fractured and splintered under the pressure of the unremitting and virulent assault aimed at us by the anti-rights Clinton Administration and their cohorts in media, academia, politics, and law, but Tim and Linda helped keelp us focused on the prize and we are stronger and better for it.

Every gun rights supporter – those new to the game and the veterans, all - owes a debt of gratitude to these fine people.

To Tim – you were 64, young for your age, and much too young to die.

We are proud to have known you.

To the beautiful Linda – you will be in our prayers. We were proud of him, too.
