| Gun control
I'm concerned with the growing fallacy being reported by the mass media that gun control is a nonissue this election year due to the many more urgent issues at hand. This is the claim of many anti-Second Amendment politicians and the pill we, the believe-what-we-read public, are being asked to swallow. Well, I'm not swallowing it. It's my opinion that this is nothing more than a tactic to lull gun owners into complacency and away from the voting booth this November. As long as there are gun prohibitionists in positions of power and others running for public office, gun control will never be a "nonissue," and neither is the preservation of our freedom guaranteed under our Bill of Rights.
