| Welcome to the Western Missouri Shooters Alliance
hotline. The Missouri House and Senate voted to override governor Holden's veto of the License to Carry bill. The bill was to become law on October 11. On November 7, St. Louis circuit court judge Steven Ohmer enjoined implementation of the law based on a lawsuit filed by rabid gun prohibitionists. That injunction has been appealed to the Missouri Supreme Court. Oral arguments will be heard on January 22, 2004. One of the requirements for obtaining a permit is completion of a certified training course which WMSA shall offer. Priority is for WMSA members, Pioneer Gun Club members and others with special needs. If you would like to put on the list for that course, leave your name, phone number, email address and mailing address after the beep. Or you may email that information to training@wmsa.net Check the web site for current information. Thank you for calling the WMSA hotline. 60 seconds |
