On September 11th, The Missouri House and Senate voted to override governor Holden's veto of the License to Carry bill. The bill was to become law on October 11.  However, a St. Louis circuit court judge has enjoined implementation of the law based on a lawsuit filed by rabid gun prohibitionists.  The injunction is being appealed to the Missouri Supreme Court.  A decision is pending.

One of the requirements for obtaining a permit is completion of a certified training course which  WMSA has been conducting NRA certified courses for over 10 years.  WMSA shall offer offering courses to comply with the law.  Priority is for WMSA members, Pioneer Gun Club members and others with special needs. If you would like to put on the list for that course, leave your name, phone number, email address and mailing address after the beep.
