Topic starting 6th August 2004: What self defense round do you use? Cor-Bon, Remington, Federal, Hornaday or whatever and why?

My primary carry ammo is Gold Dot 230gr hollow points (Kimber Ultra Carry II .45ACP). This choice was made on the recommendation of a LEO friend of mine. I have FMJ .45 in my back-up (car) gun, a Springfield mil-spec. G. L. Heaton (Jerryh)
