Ohmer's Latest Hearing
Concluded. and the answer is.....
LEGISLATIVE UPDATE -18 December 2003
FOR WIDEST POSSIBLE DISTRIBUTION.
Judge Steven Ohmer called for an additional hearing to review more motions made by the plaintiff's opposed to
Missouri's new LTC law [HB-349].
The hearing was held this morning at 9:30 am.
To the surprise of many, Judge Ohmer ran our issue LAST, making us wait while he waded through the other cases before his court.
The Plaintiff's had made a motion to re-hear the Hancock argument... That motion was
DENIED.
The Plaintiff's made a motion to return their $250,000 Bond money. That motion was
DENIED.
Plaintiff's brief's before the Supreme Court are due tomorrow.
The stage is now set.
We are on to the Missouri Supreme Court.
